Toes in the Water

Size: 16" x 12"

If you follow my work, you know that I love to paint things that make me happy! Waterfalls are right up near the top of that list and where we live in Connecticut, we can hike along rivers, brooks, and even streams that have all kinds of falling water from small, tiny drops to 80' tall ones! The sound of water falling even the smallest amount is music to my ears and really fills the woods with music. When you combine the whole experience of the water with the sights and smells of the woods, rocks and very often awesome lighting conditions it just makes me smile and it fills me with joy! How about you?

As I was painting this I was hearing "Toes in the water" in my head (even though that's a beach song, hence the title!

This piece is very vibrant in person and would make a great focal point in the right spot! It's acrylic on an Ampersand panel, coated with gloss varnish and will be set in a simple black wood frame with a white border, ready to hang. I offer free shipping in the continental US.
