I've always been drawn to barns as a favorite subject, and I even have a few still around that I painted in the early 70's. The famous American painter and writer, Eric Sloane was one of my early influences and he's noted for his paintings of old barns filled with character, combined with very dramatic skies full of clouds and often with stone walls prominently featured!
